Guy Konsbruck - Chief Executive Officer
Guy Konsbruck was appointed as CEO of Afarak in December 2016. He previously served as an Executive Vice-President of MFC Industrial since 2014. Before that, he served as CEO of FESIL's global sales companies and was also the co-founder of Luxalloys. Mr Konsbruck holds an MBA from SHU Fairfield and is a graduate of the Unversité de Strasbourg II.
Predrag Kovacevic - Chief Financial Officer
Predrag Kovacevic was appointed as CFO in December 2016. He joined Afarak in the beginning on 2016 with a focus on business development. Prior to joining Afarak, Mr Kovacevic acted as a advisor to various Ministries in Serbia and held the position of Director Financial Advisory Services at Deloitte Central Europe. He has amassed more than 17 years of international experience working in corporate finance, capital markets and the financial industry. He graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa with a specialisation in economics and business management.
Dr. Danko Koncar - Business Development Director
Danko Koncar held the position as the Chief Executive Officer of the Company 12.2.2013- 21.5.2015, after which he has continued as the Business Development Director of the Company. He has extensive experience in minerals processing and trading, including 20 years in ferrochrome processing with six years experience in the application of direct current technology to ferrochrome processing. He has served as Chairman of Samancor Chrome, General Director of RCS Ltd and is General Director of Kermas. He was Acting Managing Director of the Company between October 2010 and May 2011. Dr Koncar is dependent on a major shareholder of the Company through his controlled entity Kermas Ltd.
Michael Lillja - Marketing Director
Michael Lillja is currently the Marketing Director of Afarak Trading, the sales and marketing arm of the Company. Prior to Afarak Trading, Mr. Lillja has served for decades in several different positions in the mining and metals industry, the energy sector, and in international trade for companies such as, Alloy 2000 SA/ENRC-Kazakhstan, International Ferro Metals Ltd, and SamChrome Ltd/Samancor Cr.
